Karl Hagemeister (12 March 1848 in Werder, Brandenburg, Germany - 5 August 1933 in Werder) was a German landscape painter. From 1873 he began a long series of study trips, befriending Carl Schuch and later Wilhelm Trübner. The three studied one-year-old masters in the Netherlands, after which Hagemeister went on to Italy, where he stayed until 1876, when he returned to Werder. Later he became one of the founders of the Berlin Secession.
