About ‘Magic in the forest’ by Stephan Krabbendam
A gray morning. It had rained for days; the forest was still soaked and drops kept falling from the trees. A rather sad scene. But suddenly the sun came out and gave the forest a bath of light. A magical moment, that took away all memories of desolation.

DRIVEN BY THE NEED TO CREATE
That is my motto as a photographer. I can often be found in the nature reserves around where I live, where I like to photograph landscapes, preferably in the light of a beautiful sunrise. And when that light is gone, there is always the world of macro photography. Sometimes I alternate all that natural beauty with the clean lines and shapes of the city, which I prefer to capture with slower shutter speeds.
