The Wadden coast sometimes has brilliant moments in terms of light, colour and contrasts during the low sunrise moments.
It is the serene moment of twilight, when the sun has just not yet set, but the sky is still full of colour and light.
Sun rays break through the cloud cover and illuminate the wet, reflective bottom of the mudflats. The low vantage point highlights the structures and puddles in the mud, so you can almost feel the sheer beauty of this unique natural area.
This is the raw, pure beauty of the mudflats, captured in the hushed magic of twilight. These are wonderful moments to photograph.
