Magpies are particularly graceful birds with a distinctive lifestyle.
The long tails and their black and white appearance are very graceful. Not everyone is alarmed by this species because they regularly raid nests I think. It is true that they are very opportunistic and know how to survive well. They build unusual nests namely a nest with a roof.
Worms and insects are important food for them. Early in spring almost in winter they start building their huge nests preferably at the top of large trees.
All too often, these cultural followers have their territory in new housing developments and villages where they scavenge for a living.
This picture came about in winter and was about food.
A dead animal attracted all kinds of birds such as crows and buzzards but also a group of Magpies.
They flew up and down when another tractor or car passed by.
The layer of snow made it extra exciting.
