The main piazza in Vaiano in Umbria, Italy. Vaiano is a village with less than 250 inhabitants not far from Castiglione del Lago. The cream coloured buiding to the right of the picture belongs to the village church. There is a small area for people to gather in front of the church which has some metal seating and a safety rail so people don't fall over the drop down to the sidewalk. The main piazza, or square, sits to the left of the church and a large impressive building that is showing the effects of time runs along much of the length of it - shown here with all the windows and balconies. The building to the far left is a red brick built building.
