One of the things my own pets have to contend with is being models for my artwork. Few throw themselves into the task as enthusiastically as Spud!
Spud and his brother Ringo were abandoned at under three months old by being thrown out onto the road. When found, they were skin and bone, suffering from malnutrition and covered with skin sores. We found them at a dog rescue center and immediately adopted them.
Spud turned out to be very photogenic and only too happy to pose for the camera as you can see here! He is a black dog with patches of white on his muzzle, chest and paws. Shown here sitting in a mix of sunshine and shade, he looks wonderful against the backdrop of shades of purple. I think he knows he looks good don't you?
A rescue dog who found his forever home, alongside his brother. And a great artist's model.
