About "Make love, not war! But in Russian"

About the artwork

During the protests against the Vietnam War, d in the late '60s the slogan: Make love, not war! Rise. Barring economic measures against Russia, in terms of public protests, it has been rather quiet around the Ukraine war. Hence this Russian translation of Make love, no war: Занимайтесь любовью, а не войной!around it I made a pop art performance, mer thisRussian slogen, an Adam and Eve figure, the outlines of an angel and of a man with a sledge hammer and Mata Hari as a good, peace-loving fairy. All in a colour scheme that I think suits the 1960s. We might not change the world with it,but who knows, we might set something in motion towards a new perestroika, or a Russian summer of love. At least it will lead to a colourful embellishment of your interior
