In this series, the composition is deliberately kept minimalist. This creates a contemplative mood, which has a very calming effect. The mango fruit captivates both by the reflections on its shiny shell and the leaf and the color change from yellow to orange to red. The seemingly smooth transitions were achieved through a pointillist application of paint.
