About "Maori Woman, New Zealand Art"

About the artwork

The Maori arrived in New Zealand several centuries before the Europeans, which was previously uninhabited. The word maori means 'normal' or 'ordinary person' in Maori. In an official Maori greeting, forehead and nose are pressed together: the forehead is the place of thoughts and memories of ancestors ("I allow you into my family"); the nose symbolises breathing, life ("I wish you breath, life").

This design was created by Betty Maria Heideman.

This print makes a great gift for any lover of indigenous tribes.

The purity of indigenous tribes has always intrigued me, living without the hustle and bustle of our Western world. One with nature and above all respect for nature is something we can still learn a lot from.

The techniques used in my digital works are AI, the combination of words, styles, art forms, colours lead to surprising and beautiful results.
These works fully come into their own both in living rooms, and in offices, receptions or bedrooms.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
