Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt is a country estate near the town of Beesd in Gelderland.
The estate is built on the former Norbertine abbey Marienweerd. After the Reformation the abbey estates were initially managed by the Provincial Executive of the District of Nijmegen, who however decided to sell them in the beginning of the 18th century. In 1734 Mariënwaerdt came into the hands of the Van Bylandt family, who also obtained the status of high lordship. Descendants of this family are still the owners of this large estate. The current country house was built between 1734 and 1790. Underneath the house the medieval refectory of the old abbey has been preserved.
The estate is open to the public. There is a country store, a wedding- and meeting location, a pancake house, a brasserie and the possibility to stay overnight.
