About "Martinitoren Groningen City"

About the artwork

This is a digital adaptation of a painting by me, acrylic and mixed media on linen.
The Martinitoren is a symbol for the city of Groningen.
The colorful layers, use of acrylic paint and combining various techniques and materials (mixed media) characterize my work and my own style.
I like to let my interests come back in my paintings and by combining the form, content and texts a strong visual language arises. A painting is only successful when I like it. I follow my own taste, pay attention to trends and see what gives me energy. I like to paint portraits of women. These are all painted by hand. The newspaper cuttings, pictures from magazines, pieces of wallpaper, letters, etc. are applied with special glue and after a certain drying technique, the next layer follows. This layer on layer technique creates a lot of dynamics.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
