About ‘Matthias Church in Boedapest, Hungary’ by Sven Wildschut
This church in Budapest has an amazing history. During the Turkish occupation it was turned into an mosque and the frescoes were whitewashed. I was happy to see that the church today looks impressive and has lots of beautiful decorations. It is build at the Buda side of the city, with an great view of the Danube river and Pest.
