This picture invites you to lean back and take a break in the middle of the journey. The rear seat of the Mazda 3 G165 is upholstered in light-coloured leather, almost like a living room on wheels. The soft contours of the seats, the precisely positioned stitching, the upright headrests - all this speaks of comfort, but also of presence.
Nobody is sitting here - and yet the room seems full. Perhaps from the echo of a conversation that has just faded away or the warmth of a ray of sunlight streaming through the window. The view to the front, beyond the front seats, conveys a sense of space - and directs your thoughts inwards rather than outwards.
This perspective is the driver's view of his fellow travellers. And thus a very unique one: observing, trusting, listening. A place where you experience rather than steer.
Nature photography, city shots, reportage or portraits: I feel at home in many genres of photography and enjoy the opportunity to experiment and present my view of things.
