Almost three times the same, just different each time, the main thing was a convertible, if you wanted one. What counted was an outstanding driving comfort and its appearance, which was quite close to the 300 SL. A roadster that everyone could quickly get to grips with and was absolutely trouble-free to drive. The engine is rather hostile to revs, but the torque is felt to be endless. Only the thirst for petrol can be described as too much, too luxuriant for the actually light roadster. Motor Revue found 10 to 14 litres of petrol, the Auto Revue testers 9.8 to 16 and the AMS testers 13.1 to 16.5 litres per 100 km. But no matter, as a classic car it is not driven that often, much and far anyway, although it would be a vehicle for daily use and was at that time.
