About "Metro Hunting"

About the artwork

This black-and-white photograph shows a metro station. The image is dominated by two parallel structures: an escalator on the left and a wide staircase on the right, both sloping upwards.

The escalator is in use; people can be seen going up on it. Next to the escalator is a shiny balustrade, which adds to the modern look. The staircase next to it is wide with sleek steps leading to a higher floor. The lighting is remarkable: bright daylight streams in from the upper and open parts of the structure, creating strong contrasts and shadows.

Several figures can be seen on the left side of the picture, one of which appears to be holding a large object, a gun, although it is difficult to distinguish due to the blur. The background shows an outdoor space with trees and the outline of buildings, suggesting that this location is on the edge of a city centre. The photograph is in black and white, which emphasises the shapes, lines and intense contrasts of light and shadow.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
