The Norwegian nights guarantee beautiful light. Where the northern lights appear in winter, it doesn't get dark at all in summer. This picture was taken in the summer. The night then has quite a few golden hours. This provides warm and golden light. The sun comes from just behind the mountains in the surroundings of Hamn i Senja at about 3.30 pm. From my point of view on a mountain on the other side of the water this can be clearly seen.
