About ‘Mill de Vrijheid at the river Linge’ by Moetwil en van Dijk - Fotografie landschappen - natuur

Mill de Vrijheid on the river Linge in Beesd in the Betuwe. This mill was used by the resistance in World War II to send messages via the position of the sails. To commemorate this, the hitherto unnamed mill was named ''The Freedom" after its renovation in 1968.
