The artwork shows the façade of a modern Berlin building, which stands out due to its curved shape and the rhythmic arrangement of large window areas. Diagonal and horizontal struts structure the glass surfaces and create a geometric pattern that gains additional depth through the reflection of the sky. The composition thrives on the interplay between clear lines and organic movement.
The inspiration for this work arose from a fascination with urban structures that combine functionality with aesthetics. Berlin offers numerous examples of contemporary architecture that consciously sets itself apart from historical forms and opens up new perspectives on space and the cityscape. This building is exemplary of this change.
With this picture I want to create an atmosphere of clarity and concentration. The reduced use of colour and the graphic structure invite contemplation - about order, change and the role of architecture as an expression of social development.
