Amedeo Clemente Modigliani (Livorno, 12 July 1884 - Paris, 24 January 1920) was an Italian painter and sculptor. He died in poverty after an eventful life and a very short career, but today he is one of the most popular artists of the 20th century.
For almost 33 years now, Paul Meijering has been active with the paint brushes. As a 17- year old inspired youngster he joined the Academy of Arts in Enschede (Holland) in order to receive a native training in drawing- and painting technique.
