In this photo art image, boats sit moored on the River Thames against the backdrop of Tower Bridge, one of London's most famous landmarks. An iconic Victorian structure, the bridge is a giant movable roadway built to avoid traffic congestion. The centre of the bridge raises upwards to allow boats with high masts to pass through. This happens about 850 times per year. It is instantly recognizable as one of the most famous architectural structures in the world.
