More with cloud fishing by Atmani Blok

In a surreal world where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur, a group of koi carp swim effortlessly through a lake of clouds. Their colourful scales catch the soft light of an unseen sun, while their graceful movements cause ripples in the airy, almost liquid clouds. The lake stretches infinitely, a sea of white mists winding in waves along the horizon.

Amid these ethereal waters is a lone fisherman in a simple wooden boat. He rows slowly, his movements slow and thoughtful, as if afraid of upsetting the delicate balance of this dreamy world. The air is still, only the gentle splash of the oars breaking the silence. The fisherman seems as much a part of this surreal landscape as the clouds and fish around him.

The scene exudes a calm, almost meditative atmosphere, as if time itself has decided to stand still here for a while. The surreal and cinematic qualities of the image recall the masterpieces of greats like Salvador Dalí, in which reality and dream merge seamlessly. In this hushed scene, the world seems to retreat into itself for a moment, a moment of pure contemplation and wonder. The koi carp, normally found only in ponds, now swim freely through the air, as symbols of a world where anything is possible, as long as one dares to dream.

I always want a work to do something to the viewer, to still and ask for introspection. The work was created digitally.
