About the artwork

An atmospheric summer morning with a misty landscape during the rising morning sun. In the foreground, the bare sand dunes of the shifting sand area also known as the 'Sahara' near the town of Ommen in the Netherlands off the National Landscape Vechtdal in Overijssel.

The sand drift is surrounded by a forest edge of conifers and deciduous trees where mist and dew manage to linger in the shadows while the dune sand soon manages to warm up with sunrise and has dispelled the fog. A timeless photograph of an extraordinary landscape that is unique in Europe and has been created by intensive processing by humans over the centuries.

This photo with multiple layers and perspectives is available in high quality for photo print, photo wallpaper, print applications or media expressions. As a photographer, I love to capture the endlessness and details of Dutch nature in strong photo images. By using different techniques and combining them with perspective and composition, I create the own dynamics that are often recognisable in my photography work.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
