About ‘Moroccan and cat in Fez’ by Paula Romein
Fez is a fascinating city. I especially find the older generation in traditional dress like this man in djellaba special to see in combination with the old architecture.
As a photographer I try to capture as much as possible of these traditionally dressed people in combination with an animal in an image.

Paula Romein is a Dutch photographer who has been working for various companies since 2008. She is also a travel photographer, which is her great passion.
She began her studies at the Stichting Kunstzinnige Vorming in Rotterdam and later followed the course at Martin van Thiel's photography school in Utrecht. Paula lives with her partner Rolf and their two cats in the Zeeland village of Burgh-Haamstede.
