Moses with a Cat – Old Masters with a Sense of Humour by Peter Pen Drawings and Paintings

Old Masters with a touch of humour, warm beige and brown tones featuring a black-and-white cat, classical figurative painting, living room and study

Even Moses proves unable to resist a cat’s charm. In this humorous artwork, the imposing marble Moses sits peacefully with a contented cat on his lap. The monumental character of classical sculpture provides a delightful contrast to the everyday presence of the pet.
The warm stone, beige and brown tones, combined with the soft light, give the work an authentic, almost museum-like quality. At the same time, the cat provides precisely that unexpected touch of humour that makes the classical scene contemporary and accessible.

A unique wall decoration for lovers of the Old Masters, classical art, cats and subtle artistic humour. Looks lovely in a classical, eclectic or vintage interior and makes an original gift for cat lovers who enjoy art history.
