A mighty tree in the foreground stands like a silent sentinel over the land - its rough bark tells of decades of sun, rain and wind. In front of it is an old metal gate, slightly rusty but enduring: A symbol for thresholds in life, for transitions between the world and home, between outside and inside. Behind it stretches a wildly overgrown path, tall grass that bends in the wind as if it were whispering.
The dense cloud cover lends the scenery an almost melancholy tone, as if nature is pausing and inviting us to reflect. The silence is not empty, but full of quiet stories - of people who have passed through this gate, of memories that have faded like traces in the grass.
This picture is more than a landscape. It is a feeling. It is longing, rootedness and the poetry of the everyday - powerfully captured in a moment between heaven and earth.
Nature photography, city shots, reportage or portraits: I feel at home in many genres of photography and enjoy the opportunity to experiment and present my view of things.
