I don't live far from the beach, but I actually get there too little. At least that's what I think when I do go on another photo safari there.
Recently, I was on the beach at sunrise. I was hoping for seals or sandpipers, but there were only seagulls to be seen. But at the beach, fortunately, there is always something to photograph. At one point, the sun rose beautifully and conjured beautiful pastel colours in the water. So I had to take advantage of that!
I concentrated on the skipping waves, always nice that dynamic. By using a slow shutter speed, the colours and movement became very visible. With the bonus of the warm sunlight shining on the head of the wave.
This created this photo. A soft and almost abstract image with many soft tones and beautiful stripes due to the movement. An ornament for the wall in your living room, bedroom or corridor. But also in a company, hospital or office, this intriguing and soothing photo will look good.
A few years ago I started to delve into photography a bit more and by now it can be called a passion.I photograph everything that strikes me in a positive way. Landscapes, animals and occasionally architecture or portraits.... But my preference is still nature photos, especially macro.. Read more…
