About ‘Mrs Sunchi’ by Lioba Hermans

Part of Lioba's heart still lies in Curaçao. Having lived here for some time, her inspiration in terms of colour and design has grown enormously. Inspired by the female Antillean culture, you more often see sensuality, feminine shapes and beautiful large jewellery reflected in her works. The titles of her works largely tell something about the work an sich or about a personal experience of Lioba during her stay in Curaçao. In this case, Mrs Sunchi : 'Sunchi means kiss in Papiamento. Sunchi is one of the first words Lioba learnt in Papiamento.

Lioba Hermans lives and works in South Limburg. Born on 4 September 1984, she has been going through life as a cheerful, sensitive and loving person ever since. Inspired by both her parents, she started drawing and painting at the age of four. As a child, she had a great imagination and therefore also liked to write stories or verses. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
