The relationship between wolves and humans is ambivalent. This painting shows the positive side: a nature-loving young woman with mythological symbols on her face embraces a full-grown wolf. Both are looking in the same direction. The coexistence of wolves and humans can largely succeed smoothly, but in a normal form in which humans and wolves leave each other alone and respect each other. Whereby the wolf is rather shy of humans. Unfortunately, the Brothers Grimm fairy tales have given the wolf a negative image in the minds of children - a lasting one. It forces us to change careless habits, but not to restrict ourselves.
The painting is painted in warm tones with artists' acrylic colours: red, orange, yellow, brown. And partly with stripes of colour that visually complement the naturalistic style. The surface is covered with varnish to protect it.
