Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Mythical woman’ by Fgworks

This abstract painting shows a woman in profile, her gaze directed to the right, with a serene and slightly melancholic expression. Her skin is rendered in deep shades of grey, giving a sculptural and earthy feel.

Striking are the rich gold accents applied across her body and in her hair. A prominent golden crescent adorns her hairstyle, evoking a mystical or divine association. From her head and shoulders, golden threads or droplets seem to flow downwards, adding a dynamic and almost fluid element to the composition. These golden 'veins' or 'streams' also seem to appear on her chest and arms, giving the impression of brokenness restored with gold, as in the Japanese art of Kintsugi.

The background consists of abstract brushstrokes in dark blue, grey and hints of warm orange and rust brown, adding depth and texture and subtly contrasting the figure. The whole exudes a sense of strength, vulnerability and mysticism.
