About ‘Namaqualand Daisies II’ by Corinne Welp

In 2016 I took a trip to the wild flower fields of South Africa. I took 6000 photos then and am currently in the process of making 4 photo books out of them. Part 1 is already available in English and Dutch with the title Flowers of South Africa. (https://corinnewelp3.wixsite.com/bloemenvanza)
We visited and captured many different locations; this is a photo in the Skilpad reserve in Namaqualand. Purple Babiana flowers can be seen among the orange Namaqualand daisies. The plants are in the sand because these are deserts that start blooming in the spring after the first rains. I took a low viewpoint so that the bright orange was combined with the bright blue sky.

In 2000, I bought a second-hand digital camera at a Cash Converter in Belfast. It was nothing more than a little box. I wasn’t interested in photography until I could edit the photos on the computer. I was a multibeam data processor, so I picked up photo editing in no time. Since then, I’ve always taken my camera with me. I’ve been to places with names like Nogliki and Bintulu, I’ve worked at Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong’s…

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
