The Milky Way, Galaxy or galactic system (of the Greek galaxias (γαλαξίας), or kyklos galaktikos = "milky circle") is the barred spiral galaxy of average size, in which the solar system is located. From Earth, the Milky Way is visible from the inside as a luminous band that spans the sky, provided it is dark enough. Due to light pollution, the Milky Way is difficult or impossible to see in some places.
The Milky Way contains about 200 billion stars.
The subjects I look for are nature, mostly landscapes, but also animals and plants can come in front of the lens. Especially dramatic images appeal to me. Sometimes I also look for more graphic and abstract images. For me it's all about just making the images that make.. Read more…
