About the artwork

Welcome to an alien planet. Or is it? This landscape could be straight out of a science fiction film: bizarre trees with tentacle-like crowns, gnarled trunks like scarred skin - and above them a sky as deep blue as if it had been digitally reworked. But no: this is real. This is Namibia. This is the quiver tree forest.

The Aloe dichotoma, better known as the quiver tree, looks like an alien species from a distant galaxy in this scene. You almost think a sandworm from "Dune" is about to shoot past or that a troop of stormtroopers is patrolling between the rocks. But instead: absolute silence, shimmering heat and a place that exudes more magic than any film set.

This picture is made for sci-fi fans, space-time philosophers and anyone who likes to incorporate a bit of extraterrestrial style into their interior design. It's wild, it's beautiful, it's different - and it proves it: Nature itself still has the best film locations.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
