Between the showers there were beautiful skies and sometimes there was no wind at all, like in this picture. The trees and clouds reflect in the mirrored water. In the foreground you can see reedbeds and a natural peninsula where the birds like to use.
The photo was taken at the Noorderheide. A varied nature reserve between Vierhouten and Elspeet on the Veluwe. The water is very important for the birds and also the large forest dwellers such as the red deer who live in the area.
Specialized in landscapes and nature, especially in the Netherlands. The Veluwe forests and the waterfront are common subjects, sometimes with the contrast of nature and human traces.
