About ‘Negril - Jamaica’ by Thomas Bugdoll

Negril is a small town in the west of Jamaica.

Negril Beach, also called Long Beach or 7 Mile Beach, is the longest beach in Jamaica. In fact, it takes a good hour to walk from the eastern to the western end of the beach. Strictly speaking, the popular holiday resort stretches for about 20 km always along the sea, from Bloody Bay to the lighthouse in the west end. Directly on the beach and on the cliffs are numerous hotels, some rather simple and some very exclusive. Between the hotels there are several smaller and larger beach bars, so in the evening you can walk from one reggae bar or beach party to the next.
