About "Nest of Gold."

About the artwork

This portrait shows a young woman with a mysterious, almost serene expression. On her head, she wears a nest woven from her own golden hair. Inside the nest are three young crows, their beaks reaching upward for food — a symbol of vulnerability, growth, and the cycle of care. On her hands rest two adult crows, their feathers glowing with a bluish-black sheen — silent guardians representing strength and intelligence.

The background is a soft yellow-green, creating harmony while allowing the figure to shine. She wears a green blouse, further emphasizing her deep connection to nature. As in much of my work, dreamlike imagery, reality, and symbolism blend together.

I’m fascinated by the way nature reflects itself in humans. In this piece, I explore motherhood, protection, and instinct, but also the quiet mystery of the relationship between humans and animals. Through color, form, and surreal elements, I try to give that inner landscape a place on canvas.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
