The Somali giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis reticulata synonym: Giraffa reticulata) or netgiraffe is a (sub)species of the genus giraffes.
It can be recognized by its "net-like" stains pattern, consisting of large, angular, liver-coloured spots, separated by thin white lines. The spots of a male become darker as the animal gets older. The spots are paler on the belly and legs.
