About ‘New York 1930- Old Plymouth’ by TOMAS CASTANO

OLD PLYMOUTH. It is part of a series that serves to illustrate a new book dedicated to Lorca in New York.
For the creation of these obras, the artist collected images in the New York photo library at the age of 30, when the poet was living in the city, for the final composition also included automobiles from the time and one of them each year.
García Lorca came from Spain in 1929 to hold a conference in Cuba and New York. And so the motive for the trip was a quiz, a pretext to change the air and the environment that the rodeaba had and that he felt: it was a sentimental quarrel and an inner dilemma that he felt about his sexuality . Vivió in New York from 25 June 1929 to 4 March 1930, part of a whole series of Cubans, stayed in a room for three months

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
