"I feel that I have finally succeeded in decoupling my work from my personal problems. It is the problems of painting that fascinate me. I try to work them out in the canvas.

The most important is the question of how to transpose the original image. The original image is imaginary, has no physique, knows no boundaries. The canvas, however, demands the concrete, the physical. This implies that the conversions are inherently flawed, while at the same time they continue to challenge, incite experimentation, study and strive for the optimum. It involves a complex interaction of image, technique, format, composition, materials and colors.

These confirm and limit each other. They can harmonize, or react in chaos and nonsense. No one can know if one is aligned with the optimum. This insight guided me through my experiments and leads me to painting in series and sequences."

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
