The Oberbaum Bridge is a bridge over the Spree in Berlin. The bridge connects the Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain districts and consists of two levels, one for motor vehicles and pedestrians and one for the U1 and U3 metro lines. During the division of the city, the Spree formed the local sector border and there was a border crossing on the Oberbaum Bridge. Today the bridge is the symbol of the Berlin district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg.
