Ohara Koson (1877-1945) was a Japanese painter, and printmaker part of the shin hanga movement, specialising in kachō-ga.
I digitally edited his portrait of two geese at full moon, simplified it and placed it on a red background. I wanted to preserve the original beauty of the artwork while making it slightly more modern and adding some "Hotel Chic" to it.
