Several old discarded Navy cargo planes stand on this remote site. Most of the planes' interiors have long ago been scrapped out, the tyres are flat and moss grows on the outside of the planes. They stand neglected and forgotten. Yet they remain impressive! Grand. The adventures these planes must have had, it makes you think and your imagination runs away with you. In the fuselage are old stretchers, so they must have been used to transport wounded people, once upon a time. During one of our many wars. The planes belong to the Navy is written in large letters on the side, so maybe they landed on an aircraft carrier in the past. It could just be. For decades they have been standing here in "The Middle of Nowhere", discarded, but a very rewarding object for me to photograph and capture them for eternity, before they really will disappear forever. They are amazing despite their neglected state.
