One of my favourite holiday countries is France. Not just for the beautiful nature or the delicious food. But I love the atmosphere you encounter especially in the old towns. How nice it is to stroll through the small streets and alleys and enjoy everything you meet there. The locals, the nice shops and restaurants and especially the beautiful facades, doors, shutters and balconies. Last year I came across this beautiful scene in the Dordogne. An old wall with two weather-beaten burgundy wooden shutters framed by ivy. Isn't that what you want on your wall?
