This is a 180 degree panorama made on the darkest spot of the Netherlands, Terschelling. What you see is not the rising sun, but the moon. This image is composed of 18 images of 30 Mp and photographed with a 20mm 1.4 lens on a full frame body, to photograph the entire visible Milky Way in the highest possible resolution and without image errors. This is no HDR, the moon and the Milky Way could be photographed together like this, because the air low above the ground was relatively humid so the moonlight could not overexpose the picture.
