Overspun Magnolia, with a dragonfly, is a still life with a very large Magnolia. The petals have been textured or patterned by another beautiful flower namely the Hydrangea. The same Hydrangea can also be found in the background. It is as if many threads have been spun over it. Even the dragonfly is among the threads. The atmosphere is autumnal, as are the colors. Contradictory, of course, since the Magnolia blooms in spring and so you find spring and autumn in one work here. That makes this a very special work. It radiates the freshness of spring and the warmth of autumn. So the colors are also of autumn. Brown, orange, green and cream.
