The eagle owl is an owl and one of the largest owls we know. It gets its name from its call. When winter comes to an end, it lets out its familiar 'eagle owl' call. It is mainly found in Scandinavia and the forests of central and western Europe. This owl can sometimes be seen sitting on a lookout for a very long time. It does this to catch prey. Its habitat is in forests and open plains. Its very site loyal.
