On the coast of Normandy you will find large areas full of oyster banks. Small oysters are placed in special bags and these are then attached to a kind of table. For most of the day, these tables lie under water and grow into fully-fledged oysters. Only during a short period, when the water is at its lowest, these tables fall dry and you can see them.
