The sun disappears over the horizon like a flame retreating, leaving a trail of glowing light in the Namibian sky.
It’s a spectacular sunset, with a dramatic red sky and a fiery sun dissolving behind the clouds of the savannah, hidden, but not yet gone.
The image is abstract in its composition, focused on light, color, and form. The sun becomes almost a graphic element, the horizon reduced to a sharp line, while layered colors dominate the scene.
Each cloud stratum turns into a brushstroke: red, copper, purple, fire. The horizon is a dark blade separating two worlds, the earth already silent, and the sky still ablaze.
