Monique Rosalina
Willemstad, Curaçao
The characteristic wooden houses ( kas di tabla) are an important part of the history of Curaçao. As they are usually painted in the typically Caribbean colors, they offer a marvelous sight. My fascination with wooden houses springs from my passion for culture. Wherever I go in the world, I will always allow myself to be inspired by local culture and will always try to absorb its many facets. I’m a graphic designer and have been living on Curaçao for more than 25 years.
