At the end of the 18th century, the foundations of this little castle were laid.
The building was erected in the Neoclassical style, which was (still) popular at the time and expressed itself in neat, elegant lines, perfect proportions and symmetry. Crowned by a magnificent skylight are still clearly discernible despite extensive decay.
