Despite a decades-long vacancy, this pretty little castle, surrounded by parkland and forest, is located. Attempts have still been made to restore this property, but work has stalled for some time.
The castle was built in the late 18th century by a French man of letters. Among other things, he maintained a correspondence with Voltaire. His manuscripts and correspondence have unfortunately been lost.
The sculpture takes the viewer into the depths of this huge long hall. The angel on the balustrade seems to watch the passers-by and protect the occupants from evil intentions. The natural light also reveals the rods of the windows.
